(HC) Martha Tilaar, Mrs. Martha Tilaar born in Gombong-Kebumen, Central Java, 4

Balisari Spa & Training Center is a newly renovated and
converted 44-room hotel that is now a fully-equipped training center as well as
a functioning spa. All of our recruited therapists undergo a rigorous
curriculum that teaches them all aspects related to our spa, such as
hospitality training, spa product knowledge, treatments techniques, make-up and
hairdressing skills, followed by months of on-site practical training. After
their trainings are completed, the therapists are tested and certified before
they are sent to their designated spa.

Martha Tilaar Group
(MTG) began pioneered by DR. Martha Tilaar in 1970 by opening a beauty
salon Martha at her parents' salon, Yakob Handana, at Jalan Kusuma Atmaja No.47
Menteng, Central Jakarta.
- 1970 – Martha
Tilaar started her business at the garage of her father’s house, Mr. Yakob
Handana, in Menteng, Central Jakarta.
- 1972 – the
opening of Martha Tilaar second beauty salon, Martha Griya Salon in
